Day 1 : Kolkata To Sunderbans

In the morning, we will transfer you from your hotel in the city and take you to Gathkhali jetty which is at a distance of about 125 kilometers from the place.On the way, you will come across some beautiful countryside views, rural bazaars which will include stopovers at local tea shop and Fishermen's' villages. On your arrival at Gathkhali, you will be transferred along with your luggage to our motorized boat. After that, our local guide cum environmentalist will brief you about the rest of the day tour over either tea, coffee or a welcome drink followed by a two hours stunning journey through the river Hogol, Gomor, Durgaduani and Gumdi.Another interesting option will be to take a stopover at Gosaba which is one of the earliest human settlements of Sunderbans to visit the house of Sir Danniel Hamilton, a Scottish banker who initiated the first co-operative movement of India here. Afterwards, arrive at your jungle resort and enjoy a mouth watering lunch followed by a 3 hours birding and game cruise to the Sudhanyakhali watch tower via canals and creeks. In the evening, you may return back to your Jungle resort for dinner followed by an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Day At Ease

Wake up to a soulful morning and after quickly having your morning meal, head out to for a short guided village walk wherein you will be encouraged to have a close interaction with the local villagers in order to come across about their living and work.Afterward, we will proceed for a guided adventure journey via a manually-oared country boat followed by a short travel to DoBanki watch tower to enjoy a small canopy walk.In the afternoon, you may return back to your jungle resort to have lunch after which you may progress to Gathkhali. On arriving at Gathkhali, our staff representative will transfer you back to Kolkata via a car or a cab.
